AUCKLAND, September 9. The Committee met to-night and drafted the programme for-the Auckland Regatta in January next, whichis of special interest on this occasion because'of the Jubilee festivities. There axe to be seventeen regatta events o» the first day, £640 being distributed The principal prizewill be for the Champion Whaleboat race as follows j—First, £100; second, £35 i third, £15. In the race for first class yachts, the first prize will be £50, and the second £20. On the second day the Maori war canoe and other sports, including Maori wsr dances, will be held. The Auckland Rowing Association's regatta will take place on the third day, and the fourth day is to be devoted to land sports for the men of the squadron, who will probably be in Auckland at that time.
