[press association telegram.] MASTERTON, July 6. A large and thoroughly representative meeting of the members of Mr G. Beetham's party, unanimously adopted the following resolutions : —"That in the opinion of this meeting it" ia dVsirable that Mr Beetham should retain his Beat in the House, and that Mr Buchanan be requested to ask the House for leave of absence for him for the remainder of the session. * Mr Beetham is at present in England, and wrote that he would be unable to take his place in the House this session. ~
