One and a quarter miles. Muriel, 6st .. .. _. .. 1 May Queen. 6st 41b .. .. .- .. 2 Loyalist. Ist .. _, .. _, 3 Twenty-five started. The race was exciting from start to finish, the judge giving his verdict in favor of Muriel by half ahead. Time, 2min lLJsec. The A. J.C. Winteb Steeplechase Handicap, a sweepstake of 5 soys for starters, with 400 added. About two and a-half miles.
