NEW ZEALAND EXHIBITION
[press association telegram.] WELLINGTON, July 6. Mr Roberts aud Dr. Belcher met the local Exhibition Committee this afternoon. The former referred to the apathy shown by Wellington exhihibitors, and pointed out that the Exhibition was a colonial, and not a local affair. It would be the fault of the Wellington people themselves if they found they were crushed out by other centres of population. Mr Mills, the Chairman of the Committee, said they intended to make fresh exertions next week, and he believed they would obtain farther applications for space.
