Mkssrs Dalgety and Company, Limitkd, report, under date Sydney, June 22nd, as follows: — Wheat.—The Wheat Market is unsettled and it is difficult to obtain remunerative prices. Sales of Hunter's White (N.Z.) are reported as low as 3s lid; Tuscan is difficult to move at 4s 3d ; Pearl. 4s per bushel. Millers do not care togive the prices asked for South Australian. Weekly Imports— 660 sacks, N.Z.; 600 sacks, S.A. Total, 1260 sacks. Oats. —Best heavy Feed sorts are in active request at 3s 2d to 3s 3d; inferior, from 2s lOd; seed, from 3s 2d to 3s 5d per bushel. Weekly Imports—looo sacks. Maize —Prime Northern River descriptions are in steady request, at 3s 2d to 3s 3d; inferior, from 2s 6d per bushel. Weekly imports, 20,285 sacks. Potatoes —Stocks working off steadily. Circulars, £5 to .£5 5s ; New Zealand, £4 to £4 5s ; Launcestons, up to £4 17s 6d per ton. Weekly imports, 199 sacks Victoria, 225 sacks Launceston, 4000 sacks Circulars. Total, 4424 sacks. Onions—Fair demand for Victorian descriptions, at £19 ; New Zealand sorts, £20 to £20 10s per ton. Weekly imports, 510 sacks. Tallow—Some improvement was apparent iv the shipping demand, and bright lines, suitable for export, realised slightly higher values. We quote bent beef, £21 to £2115s ; medium, £20 to £21; beet mixed, £21 to £22 7s 6d; medium, £19 to £20 15a; best mutton, £22 10e to £23 per ten. Sales—Strathearn, £22 2a 6d; GE, £22 7s 6d ; TDS, £20 17s 6d ; Tester, Green Munro, £20 15s each : E & WK, £21 los; E—B, ME, EB, W over Rockhamptou, £2110s each ; J & WP over M, £23; J& WP over B, £22 2s 6d; J& W P <raixed), £22 ss; JW over M, £23. Oilerings still small. Hides—The biddings were fairly brisk at up to the level of last week's rites. Extra prime heavies realised 3d to 3^d; exceptional, 3id to 3M; heavies, 2|d to 2id; medium. 2gd to 2gd; light, to 2|d; damaged. Id to l£d per Tb, Horse hides, 3s to 6s 6d; yearlings, 2s 9d to 6s 6d; and calf skins, 6d to 2a each.
