CANTERBURY MOUNTED RIFLES v LYTTELTON NAVALS.

A match between the above Corp? was fired on the Lyttelton Range on Saturday last, the conditions being seven shots at 200, 300 and 400 yards respectively, Wimbledon scoring—the result being a moat ezciting match. At the 200 yards range the Navals led by 11 points, but at the conclusion of the 300 yards the Mounted Rifles were 10 points to the good. Whilst the teams were firing at 400 yards each alternately obtained the lead — the Mounted Rifles finally scoring a win by 1 point.
