BANQUET TO LORD ONSLOW.
fPER PRES3 ASSOCIATION.] Received Jannary 24th, 12.20 p.m.
London, January 23
At the farewell Masonic banquet tendered to Lord Onslow the chair was taken by the Earl of Esher. The guest, responding to the toast of his health, said he was going to a young but great and prosperous country, which, notwithstanding divers conflicting elements, was loyal to the backbone, a country which honored Masonry, but abhorred the great principles of freetrade, and was even more democratic than England.
