[FROM our correspondent.] [By Telegraph from the Bluff.] SYDNEY, January 17. A disorderly scene occurred in the Sydney City Council la-t week. During an informal discussion Alderman Riley charged J. D. Young with, mconsistency* After some interruption and confusion Alderman Young rose and facing Alderman Riley called out—"l say he is an unmitigated liar, and the truth is not in him." When called to order Alderman Young declared that no power under heaven would make him withdraw, and he further characterised Riley as a "Damnable liar and a mean contemptible scoundrel." After some more confusion the meeting was summarily adjourned, and the Aldermen left the Chamber, while Alderman Young, still in a loud voice, wa3 reiterating his offensive expressions.
