THE MARKETS.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following cable message from their London office, dated Bth January : — "Frozen mutton --The market is steadier. Wellington and Canterbury are worth respectively 3fd and 3|d per lb. There is little demand for New Zealand beef, and quotation., are unchanged."
