Mails close for the following places as under (subject to the necessary alterations) :— FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 2. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, and West Indies (via San Francisco), Cape of Good Hope, Sandwich Islands and Fiji, Nortnern Ports of New Zealand, &c, per s.s. Rotorua, as follows:—Ordinary letters, ac 7 p.m.; late fee letters, 7.15 p»m.; books and newspapers, 6.30 p.m.; money orders, at 4 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m. ; guard's van, 8.15 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on December 10th. SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3. For Northern Ports and Greymouth, per Mawhera, at 7 p.m.; guard's van, 8.15 p. in. train.
