HEATHCOTE.
The above Board met on Thursday last at 4 p.m. Present—Messrs A. M. Oiiivier (Chairman), R, Martindale, W. Beer, E. J Palmer, and H. B. Kirk. The Chairman reported that he had accepted the lowest tender for breaking metal at Rocky Point. It was reported that a nuisance existed at Bromiey road, and the Clerk was instructed to call the attention of the police to it. Also to again give notice to the Sydenham contractor not to deposit night soil on any part of the district. The Clerk was instructed to sue for all outstanding rates at once. The name of William street, North Opawa, was altered to Grafton street. Ihe following correspondence was read and dealt with. Treasurer, Wellington, advising of payment of money into Boards account. Union Hank, advising receipt of money from Treasury. Mr £. A- Slater, re standard survey stones. The Clerk to write to the Tramway Company on the subject. Avon Road Board, asking Board to appoint a delegate to attend a meeting re dividing the drainage
J district into two areas, sewage and rural. The Chairman was asked to attend. Sydenham Borough Council, re'lamp account. Received. Mr G. Duke, re water on his land. Received. After passing accounts, the meeting closed.
