RIOTS IN THE GLASGOW DOCKS.
A BRUTAL SCENE,

London, September 20.
A riot took place among the Irish laborers at Glasgow Docks, and brutal and ferocious lighting occurred. The police who attempted to quell the disturbance were completely overwhelmed. The fighting continued till the rioters were thoroughly exhausted. A large number of arrests have since been made, and fifty-two of the ringleaders have been sentenced to various terms of imprisonment.
