At a meeting of the Rugby Union the recently appointed Management Committee resigned, and a fresh one was ap pointed consisting of most of the old members. It was decided to guarantee Lillywhite £50 for match with the British team, and give him To per cent, of the gross proceeds of the gate mone-r. The Union decided that the Athletic and Poneke Clubs should play off for the championship on Saturday next.
