WHEAT STILL RISING. (pee press association.) Received August 30th, 2 p.m. London-, August 29. A cargo of Australian wheat has been sold at 40s, and another cargo of May shipment realised 39s 9d. Seven thousand quarters of Adelaide wheat brought 41s 9d. The heavy rains recently experienced all over England have greatly injured the prospects of the harvest. By the recent disastrous fire at Hamburg, 6000 tons of beet sugar were destroyed, and beet sugar has consequently experienced a slight advance in the London market. The new Consols are quoted ab 99J. Copper is quoted at £92 to £92 10s per ton. Adelaide flour 27s 6d.
