TERRORISM IN VICTORIA,

Melbocrne, November 9,
The diepute between the squatters and the Shearers' Union in the Warrnambool district has assumed serious proportions. A state of terrorism prevaik at Caramutt, where a party of 120 men are encamped within the township. The men are behaving in an orderly manner, bat great uneasiness exists. Scouts are posted at all entrances to the various shearing grounds in the vicinity, in order to prevent others than Unionists from proceeding to the sheds.
