Goldsbrough -and Co., Limited, held their usual weekly wool sale to-day, at which £000 bales were disposed of at satisfactory jprices. There was a large attendance of buyers, and competition was spirited. Good light greasy wool realised from to l"Ud, at which .price several large clips were placed; superior Jambs' wppl from Is to Is Id per lb; good croeebreds, from 8d to 9d ; bulky pieces, from 7d to Sd; good scoured wool, 17d. London, November 8. Consols have declined £, and are now quoted at IQ3£. New Zealand 4 per cent. Inscribed Stock remains at 98. The market rate of discount is unchanged at 3 per cent., being J per coat, below the Bank rate. Colonial breadstuff's. and tallow are without quotable change. I SPECIAL TO PBESS ASSOCIAHOIf.
