RIFLE SHOOTING.
A match was fired yesterday between the Christchurch Blue Club using Sulders and the Reserve corps using the Remington-Lee rifle. The result should not in anyway condemn the latter weapon, as few of the Reserve men had lEced with it before, the Government range not having been available for practice since the issue, of the new rifles. A pozgling light and puffy wind did not conduce to good , shooting. Ranges—2oo,Boo, and 500, eeven ehots at each. OHBIBTOBUBCH lUFiE CLUB. 100 300 SCO TL yds. yda. jds.
