The cleotion of Licensing Committees for the Lyttelton Borough took place yesterday. From early in the forenoen waggonettes were kept going, bat very little excitement untUl hte in the afternoon. The following is the result of the polling— D. Dhnond , 164 H. W. Pareone 160 J. B. Milsom 159 S.K.Webb n» J. Molyneaux us H. McLellan 104 T. Dyer 103 G. Jenkins 100
The first fire were duly elected. Both sides worked hard throughout the day, resulting in a victory for the licensed victuallers.
