VITAL STATISTICS.
Tnusa association ctusbam.J WELLINGTON, February 18. The following are the vital statistics of the colony for January, 18861~
The total births in the above boroughs amounted to 451, against 420 in December. The deaths in January were 207, an increase of 19 on the number for December. Of the above deaths, mates contributed 116 and females 92. One hundred and eight of the deaths were of children under five years of age, being 62.17 per cent, of the whole number. Ninety-four of these were of children under one year of age.
