The following is the Corn Exchange re- | port for the week ending Friday, the 25th instant:-— .. . A fair amount of busine*e has been transacted in grain and produce daring toe past week. Some large lines of wheat nave been placed oa the market, and purchasers hare reepended at a firm companion with last week's quotations, prime miilinglinea always commanding first attention. There has also been a tetter feeling evinced to operate in second quality PMcefr> especially Tuscan, which Iβ wanted by shippers, while ebickwheat is becoming ecarce, and prices have a hardening tendency. Oata fare steady, bright hear; feed lines being eagerly sought after for shipment- ane demand for discolored and ion* feed is chiefly confined to local dealers, but buyers are.-.plentiful. Barley—A quiet market exists for milling; several feed line*, however, have found purchasers .at low figures. Peas and beane are inactive, the latter having an occasional order for ship* Pin*. Bye grass is dull; orders are coming to hand very slowly. The market, howerer,is bar/, and no fall is Cocksfoot—Bright heavy eeed is quickly taken up for shipment at a slight advance, ; but discolored, which has to dependchiefiy I upon ocal requirements, ie plentiful and dull of tale. Potatoes are quiet, week c quotations cannot be altered. Dairy produce market has little business of note to report.
