The ordinary meeting of the Amod Koad Board ww held on the 2nd inst. Present—Mr A. W. Butiverford (Chairman), J. Macfaxlane, and D. D. laacfarlane. The minutes of the last meeting: ■were confirmed. Correspondence was receired from A. Earshnum and Co., eoeloeing account for ehingle taken under Public Works Act He waa requested to send in hie claim in accordance with Public Beads Act, as the Board intend disputing several charges. From Mc Acton-Adams, offering to keep the Acheron road from lie Clarence to the Severn junction in repair, in accordance with the Boad Board Act, for the earn of JSBO per annum. Beaolved to inform Mr Adame that the fundeof the Board do not permit it to accept his offer. The Board, however, is willing to give him J2O 193 83, being the amount of his rates; to do the work in the terms mentioned in Ms letter. From the Paymaster-General, stating that, the sum of £23 7e Id, being the amouttb of . rates doe on Crown lando for the years 1884-5, has been paid .to the credit of th» , Board. Mr G. Mcßae interviewed the Board, asking that repairs be done to the road in the neighborhood of Tekoa. The Overseer was instructed to inspect'same, and report at next meeting , .
