THE BENEVOLENT ASSOCIATION'S LOSS.
TO THE EDITOR Or THB PBXBB. Sib,—Your report as to the loss of the Benevolent Association at the late fire at the old Post Office is incorrect. It is true all our books of reference and documents of value to the Society have been destroyed, but the stock of goods did not amount to £50, instead of £800 as slated by you. Yours, &c, W. B. Mitchell, Treasurer.
