WEST EYRETON.
The Board met on July 15th. Present —Mr AiMiffAH Maindonald, Smith, Sheat, and Wating. The outward correspondence was read and approved. The Surveyor's report was read and adopted. Letters were read—From Union Bank of Australia/acknowledging receipt of J|2 4s and £9 Jls 6d, paid to the credit of the Board.* "Samel stating that one of the cheques enclosed- as part of the above for JEI 4s, had beejt. dishonored and charged to the Board's account. The Clerk -was directed to obtain the cash for the cheque which had bees, dishonored. Commissioner Crown Lands, for information with regard to reserves planted, &c., which had been furnished by the Clerk. S. L. HiggißS, re fence on Tram road. Mr J. Addinell paid in a cheque for £0 16s Bd, balance of money unexpended by the West Eyreton Sparrow Club. Mr Sheat, proposed, and Mr Smith seconded—-" That this Board pny -Id par dozen for email birds, to be delivered to the members of the Board up to October Ist next." |Mr Bradley complained of the ford on Fester's road being too high, and iras informed that a proper ford would be made in the course of the summer. Accounts amounting to J896 10s 7d was passed and ordered to be paid.
