KAIAPOI ISLAND NORTH.
At the meeting of householders at Clarkville school on Monday evening there was a limited attendance. Mr George Paterson occupied the chair, and read the Committee's report. The receipts had been _157 13s 6d, and the expenditure -8152 7s 9d The balance te credit of the library fund was £2 17s. The following were elected as the new Committee -. — Messra H. Neeve, H. Elder, T. Hassall, T. Burgess, J. Brown, J. Keith, and G. Paterson. Mr Paterson was re-elected Chairman.
