UNION ROWING CLUB.
The fourth and final heats of the junior double sculhi took place on Monday and Wednesday evenings. The racing was by far closer than on Saturday, and more interest was displayed. Fourth Heat.
Daphne (north bank)—J. Fuller, C. H. Wagstaff, W. Pengelly (cox.) ... ... 1 Dolphin (south bank)—R. Shand, G. Shand, W. E. Styche (cox.) 2 Both boats gripped the water well together, and a good race ensued up the straight to the bathing place. Shand led to Cowl—haw's, but Fuller, having the corner in his favor, got round half a length to the good, which he kept to the finish, although he was hard pushed at times. Final Heat.

Mason (cox.) 2 On the word " Off " being given, Johnston went away to a good start, and by rowing a faster stroke than Fuller drew away and led by half a length to the bathing place. Here the Daphne came up, and on rounding the corner led to the finish, and won a good race by one length. _____________
