SALE OF PROPERTY.
On Saturday last Messrs H. Matson and Co. held their weekly sale of properties. The attendance was not so numerous as usual, and purchasers were evidently scarce. The first lot submitted was a section, No. 31 in the township of Prebbleton, containing 2 roods 28 perches, sold for j£37 10s, The next was 2 acres and 18 perches, together with house thereon, situate in the Papanui road, and in the occupation ef Mr Stringer, which was knocked down for JJISOO. Several other properties at St. Albans and Papanui were passed in. A number of sections in the Crewe Township, the sale ef which was postponed till next Saturday, when a number of building sites known as Sail's Land will be submitted to public competition.
