DuNEDnr, October 27. Fat cattle were in small supply at the eales to usy. Biddings showed an improvement on last week's rates. Stores, £2 to £1 per head ; prime beef, 25a per 1001b. There was a much diminished supply of fat sheep, and prices advanced fully Is per head. Mutton, shorn, IJα to 1 J-d per lb.; fat lambs. 8s 3d to 8s 9d. Good samples o£ wheat are still in demand, bnt owing to the bareness of the market sales are limited. Prime milling, 4s 6d to 4s 7d ; medium, 4s to ■Ja 3d ; inferior, 33 3d to 3s 9d. Oats, milling, Is 7d to Iβ 81; good feed, Is 4d to Iβ 6d. Good jsaUiog barley i 3 very scarce, prices ranging as follows :— Prime malting, 3a 6d; inferior to medium, 2s to 3s 3d.
