LEITHFIELD AND BALCAIRN.
The annual meeting'for the elee&ra of church officer* for the abore portion of the LeithSeld parochial district was" held in Leithfield- CHurch on Monday, April 28th ; Rev. H. Gh Gould in the chair,, Mr Moore read, the/baJ&ace-eheet; forLeifchnolg Jt *nd r .Mx Balcairn. Tiiere was a* credit balance from the two of sbaut £10.
j "Tbe~Chairman then called for nomination of church officer*, and stated that at his earnest solicitation Mr Moore had contented to remain in office for the ensuing twelve months.
The following were then nominated and declared duly elected :—Messrs Moore, Amy, King, Roberts, Ensor, F. Homeriham, Hueband, Cookson, jnii. ; The Chairman expreued a hope that though matters were settling down quietly in the district, the officers would take no less interest "n the affaire of the church.
