The charge to subscribers will in future be £1 10s. ''pW'annum' td those with whom* - accounts are kept, and £1 6si per\ annum in cases of pre-pay'ment. __. This will include, the cost of delivery, where possible, by rail or coach. Subscribers: receiving their papers through.the Fost-office will be charged with the actual amount paid for pdstage in addition to the above rates. The Directors, in making thisalteration,are actuated ■ by a desire to supply to the public a first-class Morning Newspaper at the lowest possible price. Notwithstanding the great pecuniary, concession the Company make to the public by this reduction, the Directors have decided not to* increase the charges for advertising, trusting to the development of the resources of this important district for tJutt natural increase in business, of which they feel confident, and which no effort shall be spared to command.
