Friday, July 14. (Before J. S. Woodhouse acd M, Morris, Esqs.) Mastebs akd Apprentices' Act. — Alfred Eiby, on information of T. McNaught, saddler, was charged with absenting himself from his employment, and had been arrested in Timaru. The indenture produced having no stamp attached, the Bench held that a conviction could not be sustained, and discharged accused. Police Bailey, charged with having used abusive language to F. Courage, was fined 10} and costs. Mastebs Sebvants Act.—W. Bailey, charged on information of F. Courage with ill behaviour and neglecting his work during four working hours, wae ordered to forfeit one month's wages.
