Tuesday, March 10. [Before Dγ Back, J.P., and Percy Oox, Esq., J.P."] DRUNK AND DISORDERLY. Robert Oldman, for this offence, was fined 10s. INDECENCY. Alfred Osbourne, arrested by Detective Feast, was charged with having committed this offence at various times at the Eaet town belt, in the presence of females and children. Detective Feast deposed to the arrest of the prisoner, and of his having been iden« tified the previous day at a boarding houso by some children whose parents had complained to the police of some man committing this act. 8 The evidence of a married woman and five little girls was taken. Each of the witnesses identified the prisoner as the man who had been guilty of the offence. The prisoner, in reply to the Bench, said he had not been guilty of it, and the whole affair was a conspiracy against him. Inspector Pender stated that there had been complaints of the same kind from other parts of the city, and it was hie opinion that prisoner was the man who had been guilty of all of them. The Bench told the prisoner that the caso had been clearly proved ; each act was a most serious offence, and he would be een» tenced to twelve months' imprisonment with bard labor, CIVIL CABES.
