♦ r - I A match was played on Monday at St Albans between the Papanui and St Albans Clubs, which -resulted, as will be seen by the scores annexed, in favor of the Papanui team j by a majority of 47 runs. The fielding, bat- , ting, and bowling of both sides were very" good, especially that of the P.C.C. The weather was extremely rough, it raining a greater part of the time.
