London, Nov. 7. The wool sales closed with a further advance of 2d and 3d on washed wool. New Zealand washed and greasy v>ere briskly competed for. For next • series, commencing on November 23rd, the following quantities have arrived:—33,o6'G bales, including only 4G bales NewZealand. Afloat, 25.850 bales, comprising 5012 bales New Zealand. Flax is firm. 200 bales wero sold at auction. That from Canterbury realising as follows:—B. 8., £27; 8., £26 ;A.B. C, £21; F. M. and G. B. 0., £27; Ashley Gorge, £29. From Dunedin, £28 15s; S. H.,£28 ss. From Wellington, C. H. 8., £24 5s ; C. A. W. in O, £24 5s ; T., £25. Tallow is firm, at 48s to 495; hides are in good demand. New York, Nov. 7. Kerosene is dull at 371 cents. Flax is quiet at 9£ cents. Wool is more active. Sales of 8000 Iba. of New Zealand and Australian at 54 and 56 cents. San FuAivcrsco, Nov. 9. Wheat, 2.45 to 2.60 per lOOlba., and inactive. Liverpool quotations on November 8 were 12s lid percental, and showing a decline.
