CRICKET.
» A match was played on Saturday between an eleven chosen from the officers and men of H.M.S. Basilisk, and eleven of the U.C.C.C. For the former Werry, Vivian, and Smith were the principal scorers. Shortland made a good ondrive for four from Lee's bowling. Walker and Reade made a long stand before they were separated, and Williams brought out his bat for a carefully played innings of sixteen. When the stumps were drawn the U.G.C.C. had made ninety-eight for the loss of 9 wickets, winning by 1 wicket and 46 runs. The following is the score : — H.M.S BASILISK.
