All orders to withdraw advertisements must bo in writing, and sent in before six o'clock p.m. Advertisements received after 10 o'clock in the evening will be inserted before tho leading article and charged for at double rates. The only persons, at the following places, who are authorised to collect debts and to give receipts on behalf of the PRESS Company Limited are :— Mr J. Cartmax, at Christchurch. Mr A.
