The 1 Hdays during the Visit of HBH the Duke oi Edinburgh, followed by very rainy weather, aiF.-rted all markets, and but a small business has been done in cattle and cheep for about ten d«ve. On Saturday ] a st the Cashel street yards were w<>ll supplied with cattle; Messrs Wilson and Alport told 24. head, principally young stock, at fair prices ; one good milch cow brought £10 15a. The following amount for duties was received at the Customs on Saturday for Christchurch and Lyttelton—£2ll 10s 2d. The following are the receipts at the Customs for the month ended 30th April, 1869— Duties, £5484 3e 9d; light dues, £62 6a 5d ; merchant shipping, £5 13s 6d; fees under Arms Act, £18 6e ; other receipts, £4917s 6d; total, £5620 7s 2d. The exports from Kaiapoi for the month ending April 30, 1869, were—l7,4o3 bushels wheat, 6116 bushele oats, 1316 bushels barley, 34 kegs butter, 10 bales wool, 8 tons potatoes, 175 cheeses, 320 bushela beans, 8 sacks flour, 6 cwt onions, 20 eacks bran.
