OAMARU.
The grain market is exceedingly dull and prices have a downward tendency. It is difficult to give any quotation as there is almost a panic among buyers, in consequence of the market being glutted. Indeed we question whether large quantities could be placed unless at prices very largely below any previous quotations. We understand that there is a probability that the s c Omeo for Melbourne, will call here on or about the 17th inst., and that there is cargo awaiting her to the extent of about 200 tons of grain. Freight engaged conditionally.—" Times," March 11.
