ROCKHAMPTON.
August 6. The crushing of forty eight tons of stone from the Walter Cook's Amalgamated Claim at Eidglands, was finished yesterday, and yielded 411 ozs. Cook has imported two additional batteries and a twelve-horse power portable engine—making altogether four batteries and eighteen stampers.
