Mails for Otago and Southland will close at Christchurch at 8 a.m.,. and Lyttelton at 11.15 a.m., on Friday, the 6th instant „ , Mails, per Tararua, for the United Kingdom, the Continent of Europe, America (via Panama), and the Northern ports of New Zealaqd, will close at Christchurch at 10 a.m., and! Lyttelton at 130 p.m. on Friday, the 6th instant. Money orders must be procured at Christchurch before 4 p.m., and Lyttelton before 1 p.m., and registered letters posted before 5 p.ml on Thursday, the sth instant: Late letters for places within and beybrid the colony, by payment of ,ap extra, sixpenny p stamp upon each letter, can be posted at Christchurch till 1 p.m., and Lyttelton tlli 2.30 p.m.' on Friday, the 6th instant.
