POST-OFFICE NOTICES.
Mails, per Taranaki, for Otago and Southland, will close at Christchurch at 8 a.m., and at Lyttelton at 11 a.m, on Tuesday, the 10th iost. Mails, per Wellington, for the Northern ports of New Zealand, will close at Christchurch at 4 p m., and at Lyttelton at 4.30 p.m., on Saturday, the 14th inst. Mails, per* Claud Hamilton, for England, the Mediterranean Ports (out Suez), India, the Australian colonies, Otago, and Southland, ■will close at Chriatohurch at 7 a.m., and at Lyttelton at 9 a.m., on Wednesday, the 18th inst. Money orders must be procured at Christchurch before 3 p.m., and at Lyttelton before 1 p.m.; letters for registry must be posted before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, the 17th inst. Mails, per Taranaki, for England, the Continent of Europe, America (via Panama), and the Northern porta of New Zealand, will done at Christchurch at 7 a.m., and at Lyttelton at 9 a.m., on Saturday, the 21et inst. Money orders must be procured at Christchurch before 3 p.m., and at Lyttelton before 1 p.m.; letters for registry must be posted before 5 p.m. on Friday, the 20th in at. F.E.
