An inquest was-held yesterday at&ealaiHmsjoJ£ before J.-W» S. Deceased was standing close to nt the time. The deceased wa_r a man, and lived at Addington. ' J|f Dr. NedwiU, the next witness, stated I have Mm made & post-mortem examination of tt»**body-S of the deceased, and found contusions on body, the hair on-the temples and at the ba»lp part of the head ia staged; there waa I contusion of the skin extending from the part of the neck across -the throat. - e P_ n the head and found the brains to be deikdent jp oi blood, the membranes were. 3 gns_fh/>3|f congested. On the calf of the right were also several contusions, and the J£s§f the heel and. right- foot waa much MQ " O^_ v the same as if the foot had -breo_-er_-hiatea; the cock on 4_e > ft»*-:«ew^g
m\go burnt through- The left leg presented game appearance, but not to such an extent. ___c _mff» were euormoualj .congested. The •ftfrw-T in the heart was quite fluid. I have no fo&t but that death was caused by lightning. Dr. Coward said the evidence waa quite conetoair- as to the cause of death. It was a very -aofid ease ; the deceased must hare died inand without pain. Hie jary returned a verdict of Accidental Death.
