BSSTPXHT MAGISTBATI'S COURT, August 12,1864. (Before W. Donald, Eeq, 8.M.) Joseph Shellard was charged with being in posteswm of a shirt, valued at 6s, the property of Bcbert Hsfl, one of the passengers by the Ivanhoe. The prosecutor identified the shirt as being one flak was stolen from his chest. Tfce prisoner, in his defence, stated that he bought tiie shirt for 4s of a sailor in the forecastle, during &• time the prosecutor was in quarantine in Camp The'case was remanded for • week to give the fanner time to produce evidence respecting the troth of his statement.
