Somo idea of the! rapidity with which it is advancing may bo formed by tho fact that upwards of sixty town sections are already sold, that thero arc, besides other inhabitants, a medical practitioner, a blacksmith, a butcher, and a nursery gardener, established in tho town—that, a residence for tho district Engineer nnd buildings for Government Ofilees aro in tho course of erection, and that advertisements aro issued for tenders for thc materials and construction of tho Church. Tho Hotel will also bo speedily enlarged for tho better accommodation of tlio visitors who aro already impairing to this healthy spot for tho benefit of then* health. . Tho prices realised at auction, by Messrs. Aikman and Wilson, ranging from £12 10s. to £22, aro a good proof of tho value of tho site, being bought by parties who well know the place. A Meeting of Messrs. Coker and Ell's Creditors vrill take plaeo at Mr. Gould's Offices, Colombo-street, on Thursday 14th April, 15153, at 2 o'clock p.m., for the purpose of declaring a dividend.
