Small Yardings At Pig Sale
There was a small yarding of bacon and a medium yarding of stores at the fortnightly pig sale held at Opotiki by Dalgety and Co. Competition on all classes remains exceptionally keen. A total clearance was effected at prices definitely in vendors favour. Realisations were:—
Medium baconers, £6 3s; large stores, £5 to £5 16s; medium stores, £4 16s to £4 19s; slips, £4 Is; weaners, 38s to £2 7s.
