THE "GOOD ENDEAVOUR" LEAGUE

/^\ FOR YOUNG READERS ONLY |^^^^^b° ar d for the Goodwill Cruise

What ho, what, ho, ma hearties, and how arc all yon sailors this week? Well my new cave-turned out to be a bit of a lizzie. Both of the. other two tunnels came to a dead end after we had only gone 30 yards or so. Anyway it supplied sonic amusement and filled in a lot of time for me and the pets exploring them. I have, an idea 'that there are other caves on the Island Avhich have not yet been found but I am bound to come across them some time, and when T do, I will explore them and you never know what you will find in them. You may have heard that Ohiwa Jim caught a fine fat albacore the other day. Well,, I was watching the whole thing through my highpowered, brass-bound, gold-plated, diamond-studded telescope with three extra lenzes attached, and it certainly was a fine fish. I must try and catch one myself some day. Of course when I was at sea sailing around the South Sea Islands we used to catch plenty of them, .ones so big that it took four of us to pull them in, but that was many years ago. However, I haven't forgotten what they taste like so I will try to catch one soon for myself. Well I had better batten my hatches and get. on with the rest of the page. Yours till next week P.T.W.
