STALKERS WANT AMMUNITION PROBLEM IX THE SOUTH Alter the publicity given to the recent discussion at a meeting ol ! the Dunedin Acclimatisation Society on the. deer menace, the honorary secretary said recently that he had received several communications from deer stalkers. The following was a typical letter: "All over Otago, men are wanting to go deer-stalk-ing, but owing to the shortage of ..'M.'i ammunition they are prevented from doing so."
