KNOX PRESBYTERY
SISTER QUEALE ORDAINED ' i | . During the proceedings of the Bay of Plenty Presbytery on Tuesday last Miss Queale of Southland, was ordained a deaconess of the Church of New Zealand. Among the large congregation which assembled at Knox there were representatives from many district places—Taupo, Ruatahuna, Waiohau, Opotiki, Te Teko and Tauranga. Those taking part in the service wtre the Moderator of Presbytery (Rev. H. Hogg), the Very Rev. J. G. Laughton and Rev. J. H. Starncs. Miss Queale is now assisting Sister Annie at Ruatahuna. Her official title will be Sister Masie Queale. Telegrams of congratulation from the. Dunedin* Training Institute and southern friends were received.
