RECORD CREAM PRODUCTION
SCIENTIFIC METHODS AT WHAKAMARAMA
(Times Correspondent) Several farmers in the Whakamarama district report that their September cream production was a record for that month. Their farms are well top-dressed properties and this, combined with balanced handfeeding have produced results equal to anything in the Bay of Plenty. Naturally this means considerable laboure care and costs but the farmers concerned assert that it pays. In a nut-shell it is scientific farming. Although there have been one or two set-backs, the October production should be high, particularly as fairlv favourable weather continues. The district at present is looking exceedingly well and blocks closed for ensilage or hay are showing up.
