FARMER FOUND SHOT DEAD
(P.A.) Whangarei, Oct. 28. A Whakapiro farmer, Lawrence John Upton, aged 31, married with two children, was found shot dead on his property. A shotgun was alongside the body. At the inquest opened by the district coroner, Mr W. J. Dell, evidence was given that deceased had been in ill-health for some months. The inquest was adjourned.
