BRITISH TROOPS IN GREECE
(Rec. 9.10 am.) London, Oct. 26. The Foreign Secretary (Mr Ernest Bevin) said in the House of Commons today that he wished to make a statement soon about the future of the military mission of British troops in Greece. Mr Bevin said that newspaper reports that the decision to withdraw British troops from Greece had already been taken by the Cabinet were incorrect.
